AI-Driven iCal Import & Automated Tagging
- iCal import goes live: Skilltype now supports automated import of iCal events as items directly on the platform.
- AI-powered tagging: Events are intelligently tagged using AI based on workshop or event details.
- Rolling out with UCLA: This feature launches initially with UCLA—expanding to more organizations soon.
Search & Navigation Enhancements
- Link directly to topic hubs: Now, relevant search results include direct links to topic hubs for faster exploration.
- Improved tag handling: We’ve optimized similarity matching, embedding-based tag suggestions, and improved filter behavior across search.
Bug Fixes & UI Cleanups
- Search index cleanup: Deactivated events are now excluded from search results more quickly.
- Profile tag stability: Fixed intermittent failures when updating user profile tags directly after onboarding.
- Navigation clarity: Selected main navigation buttons now highlighted as intended.
