July was another busy month at Skilltype as we continue to grow our platform and refine the skills and resources available for our users. Below is a recap of what has changed over the past month.
Catalog Activity
- 1,140 new items added – Fresh content was added across various collections. These include newly released training materials, documentation, and external resources relevant to librarians, technologists, and information professionals.
- 172 items edited – Some existing entries were updated with enhanced metadata. As our vocabulary expands and we introduce new tags, we revisit older items to add these tags so they remain discoverable. In July we also continued to add header banner images to many tags and revised tag descriptions that were too vague.
- 7 items deactivated – A small number of items were marked inactive because they were duplicates or had broken links. Periodic weeding ensures our collections stay accurate and up to date.
