In version 1.56.0, we addressed a number of longstanding bugs and technical debt to improve platform performance and user experience. This release includes infrastructure enhancements and critical fixes across the Admin Panel, Safari compatibility, and responsive views.
Infrastructure Enhancements
- Embeddings column added to tags database: Lays the groundwork for future intelligent tag-related features.
- Tags now sync with Algolia: Improves speed and accuracy of search results.
Bug Fixes
Tablet & Safari Fixes
- Fixed layout issues in Organization tables on tablet devices.
- Resolved Safari-specific bugs:
- Tabs hidden on page load in Org Insights.
- Misaligned email columns and missing hyperlinks in Consortium Members table.
- Black loading icons replaced with correct visuals.
Navigation and Display
- Prevented duplicate API calls and flickering when navigating to item detail pages.
- Fixed hover state covering organization names on the Browse page.
Admin & Profile Updates
- Improved email validation on the Create/Edit Organization form.
- Enabled pasting into the Organization search bar in the Admin Panel.
- Fixed scrolling issue on the Job Categories table during job edits.
- Removed hidden organizations from appearing in the Consortium Members list.
Search & Data Handling
- Added fallback handling for missing media types in search.
- Fixed concurrency issue when creating items.
User Profile
- Corrected member counts in the Request Affiliation modal by excluding followers.
