Changelog v1.5.23

Microsoft Teams feed on Skilltype app

Visual modifications to profiles and feeds.

Feeds have header images

Skilltype has introduced vibrant custom header images for product feeds, enriching user experience on mobile and web platforms. We’re actively working to bring this visual update to skills and interests feeds in the near future. This upgrade aims to provide a more engaging and intuitive browsing experience. Stay tuned for these upcoming visual enhancements!

User and Org Avatars

Skilltype now allows users to personalize their profiles with custom avatars, enhancing individuality and recognition on the platform. While the system initially showcases color cards by default, they are replaced once a user uploads their chosen avatar. This new feature not only elevates user engagement but also makes profiles more distinct and relatable. So, until you decide on your perfect image, the colorful cards will represent you.

Other improvements and fixes

  • Fixed a bug where any user could update org avatars. Org admins now only have permission to make avatar edits.
  • Org admins would receive a notification each time insights were fetched from the API. Only the first retrieval triggers a notification now.
  • Error messages are more descriptive now. Users can see which issue they encountered to support in more accurate issue reporting.
  • Skilltype admins can now add tags in bulk using a bulk uploading tool
