Skilltype is continuously evolving to better meet the needs of both individual learners and organizations. Our latest features are designed to provide more customization, better visibility, and enhanced tracking capabilities for both groups. Here are some of the standout features:
Customized Feeds: We’ve introduced a new feature that customizes content and event feeds for each learner. Once you select your job role, your feed will immediately populate with learning content that is relevant to you.
Browse by Organization: In Skilltype, users can now browse content by organization. This enables learners to understand the skill sets that specific libraries or organizations are seeking. With this insight, you can tailor your learning journey to meet those specific needs.
Organization Visibility: We’ve enhanced control over profile visibility for organizations. Now, you can choose whether or not other Skilltype users can find your organization’s profile, providing a greater level of privacy and customization.
Download CSV of Learning: We’ve added a convenient feature for learners. After you mark items as complete, you can download a CSV file of your completed activities. This makes it simple to share your learning progress with managers or supervisors.

Improvements
- We have resolved the display issues related to embedded PDFs, ensuring a smoother user experience while viewing documents.
- Users who have had their access revoked will no longer appear in organization directories, enhancing directory accuracy and security.
- For consortium managers, we’ve added a feature in the data export function. Now, you can see which member organizations users belong to, providing a more comprehensive overview for analytics and reporting.
